General Function
The Evening Coordinator serves as a frontline representative for Brunswick Community College at the Leland Center. This part-time position is responsible for providing exceptional customer service while promoting a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment for students, staff, instructors, and visitors during evening operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Coordinate and support evening operations at the Leland Center.
  • Assist students with registration, classroom locations, and general navigation of the facility.
  • Respond professionally to phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries.
  • Maintain a safe and secure environment by conducting room checks, following safety protocols, and securing the facility at closing.
  • Prepare classrooms and meeting spaces as requested for instructional and community activities.
  • Answer incoming telephone calls, relay messages, and provide accurate information to students and visitors.
  • Operate standard office equipment, including computers, printers, and copy machines.
  • Foster a positive and professional atmosphere that reflects the mission and values of Brunswick Community College.
  • Work collaboratively with faculty, staff, and community partners to support evening programming and student success.

Minimum Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalency.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain a professional, courteous, and welcoming work environment.
  • Basic computer and office equipment proficiency required.
  • Ability to exercise good judgment and maintain professionalism.
