We are looking for a reliable Evening Commercial Cleaner to maintain child care center in Pittsboro. This is a solo evening position with a consistent Monday–Friday schedule. No weekends. No team drama. Just you, doing great work.


This is the perfect second job if you work an office or admin job during the day and want steady part-time income in the evenings. It's also a great fit for a parent who has daytime availability to be home with kids and wants a set evening schedule.

Trash & General Maintenance

• Remove and replace all trash liners throughout the facility

• Transport trash to designated outdoor disposal areas


Floors

• Vacuum all carpeted areas thoroughly, including edges and corners

• Sweep and mop all hard-surface floors, hallways, and entryways


Glass & Doors

• Clean interior and exterior glass on all entry and interior doors

• Remove smudges, fingerprints, and streaks from all glass surfaces


Restrooms

• Sanitize and disinfect toilets, sinks, and all fixtures

• Wipe and disinfect countertops and mirrors

• Mop floors; ensure restrooms are clean and odor-free

• Restock paper products and hand soap as needed

• Disinfect all high-touch surfaces (handles, faucets, dispensers)


Classrooms & Common Areas

• Wipe down countertops, tabletops, and work surfaces

• Wipe fronts of cabinets and storage units

• Clean baseboards throughout classrooms and hallways

• Disinfect high-touch surfaces: light switches, door handles, cubbies

• Leave every room clean, organized, and ready for the next school day

REQUIREMENTS:


Must Have:

• Reliable transportation to the Pittsboro facility

• Availability Monday–Friday, 6:30 PM – 10:30 PM (every week — no skipping shifts)

• Ability to work independently without supervision after training

• Strong attention to detail

• Dependable — you show up when you say you will, every time

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 30 lbs for the duration of your shift

• Must pass a background check


Preferred (Not Required):

• Prior commercial, janitorial, or professional cleaning experience

• Experience cleaning schools, daycares, or similar facilities

• Familiarity with proper use of cleaning chemicals and equipment
