About the Role

As a Respiratory Therapist Part Time AM/PM, you will be responsible for:

  • Providing respiratory care to patients with acute and chronic respiratory diseases

  • Conducting respiratory assessments, therapy, and testing to diagnose and treat respiratory disorders

  • Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the healthcare team

  • Operating and maintaining respiratory equipment, including ventilators, oxygen analyzers, and nebulizers

  • Monitoring patients' progress and adjusting treatment plans as needed

  • Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive and compassionate care

Responsibilities

  • Conduct respiratory therapy treatments, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, and respiratory rehabilitation

  • Perform chest physiotherapy, including percussion, vibration, and postural drainage

  • Monitor and analyze patients' vital signs, including oxygen saturation, heart rate, and blood pressure

  • Provide education and support to patients and their families on respiratory care and disease management

  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to improve patient outcomes and reduce complications

  • Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient treatment and progress
