Osborne has opened its first transitional housing and reentry program, The Fulton Community Reentry Center (Fulton). Fulton will provide 140 beds of transitional reentry housing to formerly incarcerated men who would otherwise be homeless after discharge from a correctional facility. Fulton will also provide onsite reentry services, including case management, benefits enrollment, employment, health, and substance use disorder treatment. The facility operates 365 days on a 24-hour basis daily, including evening and weekend hours (some positions will require non-traditional work hours).
We are currently seeking a Part-Time Operations Aide to support laundry service for the building. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Operations Aide will wash, fold linens and terry, maintain accurate both inventory and use rate of laundry related items, and provide the Operations Manager a biweekly comprehensive inventory log. The person in this role will work 21 hours per week. The schedule is Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 9:00am - 5:00pm, weekly.
This position reports on-site at our Fulton Community Reentry Center.
Salary Range: $20.00 per hour
Requirements
Essential Duties:
  • Wash towels, washcloths, sheets, pillows, blankets, and any other Osborne provided linen items, ensuring clean and sanitized linens and towels are available to residents at all times.
  • Maintain an inventory of all linen service items and related supplies.
  • Maintain inventory log of all linens and terry, providing a biweekly and monthly to the Operations Manager.
  • Support the distribution of linens and other resident supplies, as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • In-person attendance is required to perform essential duties.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Highschool Diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with high volume linen service is preferred.

Key Competencies:
  • Must be able to perform self directed work and independently complete all tasks assigned.
  • Good interpersonal skills; high level of maturity and reliability.
  • Must be comfortable working in a men's shelter.
