Job description

Get paid to end your day outside, stay active, and spend time with dogs!


If you live on the Upper West Side, Upper East Side, near Central Park South, in Midtown, Greenwich Village, or Lower Manhattan, you could earn approximately $190-$225 per week by completing just two dog walks each weekday evening.


It is a fun and active way to begin your day while earning meaningful supplemental income! With a consistent year-round schedule, you could earn approximately $10,000- $11,700 annually.


This opportunity is ideal for professionals with flexible schedules, remote or hybrid workers, freelancers, students, retirees, and night owls who love dogs and want to build exercise into their evening routine.

Role Overview

This is a part-time, W-2 employee position designed to fit around your existing work or personal schedule. You can build a consistent weekday evening route near your home while earning meaningful supplemental income.


Prior professional pet care experience is helpful but not required. We provide paid training and ongoing education in dog and cat behavior.

What You'll Do:

  • Prepare the dogs in each household to go outside with appropriate safety gear
  • Lead 30-60 minute walks and active play sessions
  • Administer food, water, or medication per client instructions.
  • Clean up after pups outdoors and indoors as needed.
  • Send updates/photos and log behavior or health notes.
  • Build trusting relationships with pets and their owners.  

Schedule: 

We are seeking applicants who can commit to a consistent Monday-Friday schedule between 5:00 p.m. and 10:00 p.m.


Applicants do not necessarily need to be available throughout the entire window but must be able to maintain a dependable recurring schedule. Opportunities may be available for candidates interested in completing more than two daily walks.


Priority Neighborhoods:

We are especially interested in applicants who live in or near:

  • Upper West Side
  • Upper East Side
  • Central Park South
  • Midtown Manhattan
  • Greenwich Village
  • Lower Manhattan

Our goal is to build efficient routes close to where our dog walkers live.


What We're Looking For:

  • Consistent Monday-Friday morning availability
  • Dependability and strong communication
  • Comfort working outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Ability to walk and remain active throughout scheduled visits
  • A smartphone with an active data plan
  • Authorization to work in the United States
