About Us
Middle Georgia State University (MGA), a multi-campus, baccalaureate and graduate degree-granting public institution, is the most affordable public state university in Georgia. Department Information
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics is a unit of the School of Computing. The department offers a Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics with the options of an Applied Statistics, General Mathematics, or Secondary Education track. The department also offers a minor in Mathematics and Statistics. These programs provide students with the analytical and problem-solving skills required to advance in today's workforce.
Job Summary
The Department of Mathematics & Statistics within the School of Computing at Middle Georgia State University is seeking candidates for a Lecturer to teach day and evening classes in mathematics.
Responsibilities
Teaching responsibilities will be at the undergraduate level. Candidates should be able to teach a variety of mathematics courses in the program ( https://www.mga.edu/computing/mathematics-statistics/index.php ) Teaching responsibilities will include day and/or evening classes. The primary teaching responsibilities will be in the Warner Robins Campus, however, travel between campuses (Cochran, Dublin, Macon, and Warner Robins) will be required. In addition to teaching, job requirements include service to the institution.

Required Educational Qualifications
Master's degree or equivalent in mathematics or related disciplines.
Other Required Qualifications
Candidates may be considered for the rank of senior lecturer if they possess adequate experience or education.
