  • As an evening housekeeper for Mirbeau, you’ll be responsible for creating beautifully clean, thoughtfully prepared guest rooms and shared spaces that reflect the elevated standards of our resort and spa. In this role, your work will uphold a flawless, welcoming atmosphere where every detail reflects Mirbeau’s hospitality and our Forbes-rated standards.   • Pay Rate: $17.00 to $19.00 per hour
  • Job Responsibilities:
    • Guest Service & Hospitality
      • Greet guests warmly and respectfully, using Forbes and Mirbeau’s language standards
      • Provide courteous, discreet service, with a respect for privacy, friendliness, and genuine hospitality
      • Respond to guest needs, complaints, and requests with care, professionalism, and a sense of urgency
      • Always represent Mirbeau’s refined standards with warmth and professionalism at all times
    • Guest Room Cleaning & Preparation
      • Place chocolates in a visible location for guests upon entry
      • Close both the sheer and opaque curtains to ensure privacy and comfort
      • Remake beds to brand standards: fold the decorative blanket and arrange pillows neatly
      • Remove and replace all soiled towels and empty all trash receptacles
      • Clean and service all function rooms nightly to maintain presentation standards
      • Fold the toilet paper and tissues into neat triangles, replenish supplies as needed
      • Adjust lighting to create a welcoming ambiance, leaving select lights on (nightstands and nightlights)
      • Perform rose petal turndown service when applicable
      • Organize guest belongings respectfully in stayover rooms, respecting their privacy and preferences
      • Report and return lost and found items to the Front Desk- labeled with room number and date
      • Perform a final room inspection and communicate room readiness to the front desk, including any rooms with Do Not Disturb (DND) signs and any outstanding needs
    • Supplies & Equipment Management
      • Maintain fully stocked housekeeping carts and linen closets, keeping them tidy and well-organized
      • Use only resort-approved cleaning supplies as directed; maintain all tools and equipment in safe, clean working condition
      • Transport soiled linens to laundry during breaks to assist with laundry turnover
      • Return housekeeping keys, equipment, and supplies to designated areas securely and properly
    • Professionalism & Work Ethic
      • Arrive on time, in a clean uniform with name tag
      • Maintain a neat, professional appearance, practicing proper hygiene
      • Follow all housekeeping guidelines and complete cleaning tasks in a timely, organized manner
      • Complete daily task lists efficiently and thoroughly, with attention to detail
      • Report safety concerns, unusual room conditions, or maintenance needs to leadership immediately
    • Team Communication & Collaboration
      • Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members, leadership, and other departments
      • Attend and participate in staff meetings and training sessions as required by the resort
      • Support a positive and productive work environment through helpfulness, professionalism and accountability
      • Assist in laundry by washing, drying, sorting, and/or folding as needed
      • Perform additional tasks and/or support other departments as requested

  • Qualifications, Skills & Educational Requirements:
    • Experience & Education
      • Previous hotel or resort housekeeping experience preferred
      • Ability to quickly learn job responsibilities with minimal training
    • Physical Requirements
      • Must be in good physical health
      • Able to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive motions for extended periods
      • capable of lifting and carrying up to 40 lbs safely and regularly
