Omescape is an escape room company specializing in puzzle-driven, immersive experiences that seamlessly integrate challenges into the environment of our themed rooms. We have created several award-winning escape games and are currently developing exciting new games for both our existing and future locations.


Job Description:

As a Prop Maker/Fabricator, you will play a key role in bringing our new escape rooms to life by creating and decorating props that enhance the overall experience. You’ll work with a variety of materials and techniques, including woodworking, foam carving, laser cutting, molding, and modifying existing items to fit the theme. We’re committed to continuous improvement with each game we create, and we’re looking for someone who is eager to learn on the job and contribute innovative ideas for making our rooms even better.


In our small, dynamic team, you’ll have the chance to wear multiple hats, allowing you to engage in various aspects of the process and see your creative ideas come to life.


Responsibilities:

  • Design, fabricate, and install a variety of props, set pieces, and mechanisms
  • Repair, maintain, and upgrade existing props to ensure longevity and functionality

Skills Needed

  • At least 1 years’ experience in carpentry, painting, welding or modeling to create immersive objects
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Ability to take initiative and learn new skills or techniques as needed.

Plus

  • Familiarity with electronics, Arduino / Rasberry Pi programming
  • A passion for games, design, and creating immersive experiences
