Job description

Become a LoboLift Driverand help keep your fellow Lobos safe! Join the LoboLift Team, a student-ledinitiative developed by ASUNM and provide friendly, dependable eveningtransportation for UNM students navigating Central Campus after dark. Driversassist students traveling between evening classes, libraries, labs, residencehalls, Greek life housing, shuttle stops, and parking areas on Central Campus.It's a meaningful way to support campus safety plus, you'll earn money, meetnew people, and make a positive impact on the UNM community.

Hours:

Evening shifts between6:00 p.m. and 11:00 p.m., Monday through Friday (flexible scheduling aroundyour classes!)

KeyResponsibilities:    

  •  Safely operate an assigned LoboLift Cart (electric/golf cart-style vehicle) to transport students across campus.
  • Deliver excellent customer service with a positive, professional attitude.
  • Respond promptly to dispatched ride requests.
  • Conduct basic vehicle safety checks before and after each shift, keep the cart clean and ready for service.
  • Report any safety, maintenance, or incident concerns immediately to your supervisor.
  • Maintain simple ride logs or digital trip records as directed.

Requirements:

  •  Must be a current UNM student enrolled in at least 6 credit hours.
  • Must have a valid New Mexico driver's license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to work evening shifts between 6 p.m. and midnight.
  • Comfortable driving small electric vehicles and following all traffic and safety regulations.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and responsibly while representing the University.  
  • Must complete UNM Defensive Driving Training prior to operating a vehicle.
