Job description

Student Support AssociateSan Antonio | Part-Time, Permanent | Monday - Friday, 3:30 PM - 10:00 PM CT | $17-19/hr

Students at our San Antonio campus rely on a team that's present, responsive, and genuinely invested in helping them get across the finish line. The Student Support Associate is the person who makes that happen on the ground: you'll be the first face students see when they walk in, the voice on the other end of a question about scheduling or attendance, and the steady hand keeping campus operations running smoothly every evening.

What you'll do

This is an on-site, evening-shift role at our San Antonio campus. You'll serve as the front desk representative and primary Tier 1 support contact for current students, prospective students, and alumni -- across phone, email, and chat. Day to day, that means:

  • Welcoming students, visitors, and guests; answering questions and directing people to the right place
  • Maintaining campus common areas, front desk, and student support spaces
  • Processing student documentation, including training records, transcripts, certificates of completion, and timesheets
  • Updating and maintaining accurate student records in Salesforce and other systems
  • Responding to student inquiries about attendance, scheduling, learning platforms, exam vouchers, policies, and procedures
  • Monitoring student attendance records and following up on absences and participation concerns
  • Supporting Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) monitoring and communicating requirements to students
  • Coordinating scheduling for mentoring sessions, makeup sessions, and other support services
  • Routing student concerns and escalations to the appropriate department
  • Managing inventory, office supplies, and classroom readiness
  • Supporting cross-functional collaboration with Instruction, Compliance, Career Services, and Operations

What you'll need
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least 1-2 years of experience in student support, customer service, helpdesk, administrative support, or a closely related field
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism
  • Comfort working independently across multiple priorities in an evening-shift environment
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and web-based business tools

What we'd like you to have
  • Associate's or bachelor's degree
  • Experience with CRM, ticketing, or student information systems
  • Familiarity with Salesforce, Zendesk, Docebo, or similar platforms

What we require
  • On-site availability at the San Antonio campus, Monday through Friday, 3:30 PM - 10:00 PM Central Time
  • This is a part-time, permanent position; hours are fixed to the evening schedule listed above
