Job description

A regional law firm with multiple offices in New York and New Jersey is seeking a Land Use & Zoning Attorney.

The firm represents a diverse range of clients, from individuals to national corporations, and values a collaborative, family-oriented work environment.


Location: Greenwich, CT

Salary Range: $200k-$250k (commensurate with experience and book of business)

Job Description:

The successful candidate must have a book of business in real estate law, particularly within land use, environmental, zoning and permitting legal work and will be the Partner handling these legal matters involving land use, zoning, urban redevelopment, and municipal government.


Responsibilities include attending evening municipal meetings, representing clients in tax assessment appeals and related litigation, and assisting with subdivision and land development projects. The individual will manage a support team consisting of associates, paralegals and other law firm professionals. Successful candidates will have a strong network of local real estate and land developers, business owners and other corporate or individual clients which they are relied upon to help with new construction, easements, modifications, real estate acquisitions, permitting and zoning, and the full-cycle of real estate transactions as a Connecticut-based Attorney.
