Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in theology or Bachelor's in a related field with a completion of Archdiocesan Catechetical Certification required.
- Active participation in parish life; previous experience in Catholic parish environment a plus.
- Appropriate mental and physical health to accomplish the tasks.
- Completion of archdiocesan safety policies (Background Check, Virtus, etc).
- Excellent customer service skills, including ability to maintain focus and professionalism with people in challenging situations, both in person and by phone.
- Able to help prepare, set up and clean up during some evening or weekend events.
- Good time management, including ability to manage several projects at the same time.
- Must be able to multi-task and retain accuracy in an environment of competing deadlines.
- Able to walk, drive and stand for prolonged hours as required by the sessions.
- Able to sit for extended periods at a computer workstation.
- Good oral and written English-language communication skills.
- Good Spanish-language spoken communications skills a plus.
- Proficient computer literacy (MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint a plus).
- Practicing Catholic who fully adheres to and models the Church's teachings in faith and morals (Cf. National Directory for Catechesis, 54 B 5).
- Must have a professional demeanor.
