The Ed Napleton Automotive Group is looking for our next Certified EV KIA Technician. This is an exciting opportunity in a growing, fast-paced industry. Located at Northlake KIA, the Certified EV KIA Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards. This position will build Customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence in Napleton through effectively diagnosing vehicles.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Performing vehicle repair and/or maintenance work as outlined on repair order with efficiency and accuracy, in accordance with dealership and factory standards to drive Customer loyalty.
  • Communicating with Parts Department and Service Advisors regularly to effectively manage production and Customer communication.
  • Diagnosing the cause of any malfunction and perform repair.
  • Adequately explains technical diagnoses and needed repairs to non-mechanical individuals which may include employees and customers
  • Keeping abreast of factory technical bulletins and participating in factory-sponsored training classes as appropriate
  • Keeps store management aware of mechanical repair problems as they occur
  • Maintains an organized work area

Job Requirements:

  • Automotive Service Technician experience
  • EV certified Tech with KIA experience
  • ASE certification desirable
  • Excellent customer service Strong communication skills
  • Valid Driver’s License
