Concordia Wireless is a nationwide construction services firm specializing in the development of wireless communication sites, with a focus on supporting telecom networks. We are contracted by major carries to facilitate network upgrades including conversions from 4G to 5G. Our services include construction management, electrical and civil modernization, antenna and line (A&L) tower work, tower maintenance, fiber optic network deployment, commissioning and integration, directional boring, trenching, and excavating. Our expertise spans a wide range of projects and our clientele list includes Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile.
 
We are seeking a full-time EV Business Development Manager to take the lead in building our electric vehicle charging portfolio. This role combines technical knowledge, sales acumen, and relationship-building skills to drive market penetration for DC fast-charging solutions with OEMs, Charge Point Operators (CPOs), and system integrators.
 
Hybrid role: in office (Carol Stream) and work from home.

Responsibilities
  • Build revenue streams
  • Cultivate and strengthen strategic relationships with project developers, system integrators, asset owners, and engineering partners throughout the EV charging industry
  • Establish the organization as the go-to provider through active collaboration with top DC fast charging project developers
  • Track industry trends, competitor activities, and policy changes to inform business strategy and planning
  • Collaborate with product management, engineering, finance, and operations leadership to ensure alignment on priorities and implementation
  • Represent the organization during customer visits, trade conferences, and potential global business engagements
 
Required Qualifications 
  • Preferred candidates come from industries including EPC (Engineering, Procurement, Construction), L2 charging or other business segments, power electronics, commercial infrastructure, enterprise infrastructure, and fleet operations.
  • Bachelor's degree or comparable industry experience within the EV charging sector
  • Minimum 3 years in quota-carrying EV sales role with demonstrated success in achieving consecutive year-over-year revenue growth
  • At least 1 year of direct experience selling DC Fast Charging solutions or similar technical products
  • Comprehensive knowledge of company's product portfolio and technical capabilities, with skill in translating complex technical features into clear, accessible language
  • Proven organizational abilities, contract negotiation experience, and proficiency in evaluating and responding to RFPs/RFIs
  • Thorough knowledge of the North American EV market landscape and charging infrastructure solutions
  • Demonstrated capacity for strategic planning, results orientation, and agility in navigating fast-changing market conditions
