TEKsystems is looking for Embedded Software Engineer for a team in Sunnyvale, CA.

Join an innovative engineering team developing advanced positioning, navigation, and timing software used in mission-critical aerospace and defense applications. This role focuses on designing and implementing high-performance software for embedded and real-time systems where reliability, performance, and precision are essential.

The Software Engineer will lead software development efforts from requirements analysis through implementation and verification, collaborating closely with hardware and firmware teams to deliver industry-leading technology solutions. Responsibilities include developing modular software architectures, optimizing time-critical processing, and contributing to formal certification and quality processes.

The ideal candidate possesses strong embedded software development experience, expertise in C and Python programming, a solid understanding of operating systems and microprocessor architecture, and experience building multi-threaded applications.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sunnyvale, CA.

The pay range for this position is $119500.00 - $164400.00/yr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
