Overview

Job Shift: Day Education Level: 2 Year Degree Travel Percentage: None Category: Clinical Support

Description

Purpose

Provides health care services applying x-ray energy and computer processing techniques to assist in diagnosis or treatment. Assists in fluoroscopic procedures with Radiologist/PA, performs general radiology exams, performs computed tomography (CT) and related procedures to demonstrate sectional anatomic images for interpretation by, or at the request of, a licensed independent practitioner. Exercises professional judgment in performance of services and maintains a demeanor complementary to medical ethics. Provides appropriate patient care and recognizes patient's conditions for successful completion of the procedure: i.e., the age, physical ability, and/or the mental status of the patient.

Responsibilities

Perform CT and radiologic procedures as ordered by the physician. Insure that equipment necessary to perform related duties is operational accessible and properly maintained. Assures compliance with all regulatory agencies.

Experience

  • One (1) year of experience is preferred.
