What You Will Accomplish:

As the Software Developer, you will produce and support software features and solutions based upon guidelines and requirements provided by team leaders and managers. 

What You Will Do: 

  • Develops software features under the guidance of project team leaders and management.
  • Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions.
  • Documents and demonstrates solutions by developing documentation, flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, code comments and clear code.
  • Prepares solutions by determining and designing system specifications, standards, and programming.
  • Updates job knowledge by studying state-of-the-art development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.
  • Protects operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Develops software solutions by studying information needs; conferring with users; studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes; investigating problem areas; following the software development lifecycle.

Position Requirements:

  • Education:  Bachelor's in IS, IT, or similar field; would consider combination of coursework and experience within a business environment.
  • Experience: 1-4 years of Information System experience - or new/recent graduates                                                                                                          
  • Functional Skills: Understanding of .NET and/or C#; Experience with Microsoft Visual Studio, SQL Server & T-SQL; Object Oriented Programming 
  • Technical Aptitude/PC/Other: Excellent skillset with Microsoft Office tools
  • Language Skills: Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Leadership/Behaviors: Self-starter, strong problem-solving skills, independent learner, highly-motivated, with the ability to stretch abilities as more complex projects arise.
  • Culture Fit:  Need conceptual thinkers who can take a vision and create better processes/solutions.  Energetic, honest, and high-ethical standards.  Enjoys collaboration, being a team player, and leading/participating in continuous improvement processes.

Other Important Information:     

Salary: Salary is commensurate with proven expertise

Reports To: A department manager. Either a Support Manager or a Development Manager.                                                                                                                

Core Hours:   8:00am-5:00pm

Typical Work Week:  M-F; occasional weekends hours.  40 hours per week on average

Travel:  Limited

Work Conditions: Office
