License: California Esthetician License is required.

Operations/Responsibilities:

  • Greets guests in a timely and friendly manner, including working shifts at Front Bar. Know how to use POS Boulevard to check people in and out, including making appointments, selling products and managing memberships.
  • Demonstrates high standard of customer service.
  • Responsible for the esthetician new hire interview process and hiring.
  • Assist in creating and maintaining esthetician staff schedule, including breaks and lunches, in Boulevard. Ensure adequate coverage for high peak hours. Make necessary schedule cuts throughout the day if needed.
  • Responsible for the management of all esthetician staff for recruitment, training, product knowledge, loss prevention, performance management, safety and legal compliance.
  • Report inventory counts to the district manager. Communicate ordering back bar products and supplies needed in a timely manner to district manager. Receive products, unpack boxes and stock back bar product needs. Ensure inventory is accurate.
  • Responsible for coaching esthetician staff to achieve store and individual sales goals.
  • Check to make sure esthetician staff is clocking in, out and for lunch breaks using Boulevard.
  • Ensure estheticians are following all safety, sanitation and hygienic procedures before, during and after service to ensure Board compliant at all times.
  • Perform service, including but not limited to: dermaplaning, HydraFacial, Procell, chemical peels, brow lamination, lash lift and tint.
  • Assist in store cleaning, including treatment room area, dispense area, bathroom and back room. Schedule and manage staff in the store cleaning duties so everyone is responsible for keeping the store clean.
  • Conduct verbal esthetician monthly and quarterly reviews and provide constructive feedback to enhance performance.
  • Reports directly to the District Manager.
  • Manage and schedule weekly time for managerial duties to ensure standards are being met.
  • Proficient in Gmail and active communicator in concise and clear way with District Manager to make sure needs are addressed across the esthetician team
  • Guidance and collaboration with Lead Esthetician to best optimize training time, responsibilities and client-facing time

Training:

  • Training estheticians to ensure they are confident in FACE FOUNDRIÉ protocols, product knowledge, selling and compliance
  • Train new and existing estheticians on ongoing training and protocol changes which includes but is not limited to products and services
  • Hold the esthetician team accountable to hitting benchmarks on current programs and initiatives including service sales, product sale, membership goals and rebook.
  • Ensuring all FACE FOUNDRIÉ standards are being upheld.
  • Confident in having coaching conversations with team members.
  • Responsible for identifying the professional development needed for each esthetician.
  • May conduct product, retail and membership training to both Front Bar Receptionists and Estheticians.
  • Assist in training estheticians Front Bar protocol. Teach them how to use Boulevard so they can assist Front Bar in the check in/check out process and know how to close a client’s check when checking out.
  • Train estheticians to maintain a high level of clientele email follow up to help understand, educate and retain clients for future visits.
  • Ensure all FACE FOUNDRIÉ standards are being exceeded. This may require 1-3 minute coaching conversations with esthetician staff.
  • Conduct, schedule and manage product training for estheticians with our product and machine reps/partners.
  • Implement ongoing instore training with Eloomi (training platform) and product reps.
  • Responsible for performing services on guests and leading by example.

Leadership:

  • Promote a good/fun and gossip free environment for customers and employees.

Marketing:

  • Assist in Marketing and Social Media initiatives which may include but are not limited to events, pop-ups, social media content.
  • Assist esthetician team to post videos and content on Social Media to create excitement, including agreeing to be part of social media content.
  • Work with the district manager to book outsourced events with local businesses.
  • Work with district manager to develop and execute marketing strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.

Financial Management:

  • Meets financial metrics including: service revenue, average ticket, client count, rebooking And product sales.
  • Work with District Manager to implement strategies to achieve sales targets and profitability goals.

Client Services:

  • Take clients regularly outside of managerial, marketing and training duties
  • Responsibilities similar to an esthetician in addition to manager duties
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality services and ensure client satisfaction.
  • Address client issues and concerns, providing resolutions in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain a positive and welcoming environment for clients and staff.
  • Training in and knowledgeable about all FACE FOUNDRIÉ services.
  • Hold an active esthetician license.

Preferred Requirements

  • 1-3 years of management and customer service experience at the salon/spa.

Availability: Evening and weekends are required; Sunday - Thursday
