Job description

Our Organization

Wee Care offers Therapy Services and Home and Community-Based Services using evidence-based treatment models to help your loved one achieve and maintain the highest level of independence. Wee Care has been serving families in our community and surrounding communities since April 2006.

Role Overview

Wee Care Corp is hiring Caregivers (Direct Support Provider) in Surprise, AZ (and surrounding cities) to support individuals with developmental disabilities in building independence and reaching personal goals. This role exists to deliver safe, respectful, evidence-based support that strengthens confidence and daily functioning.
Key responsibilities include providing direct assistance aligned to individual plans, encouraging self-esteem and empowerment, supporting daily living skills and goal progress, and maintaining integrity, safety, and customer-focused communication.
Required qualifications/skills:
- Genuine motivation to positively impact individuals with developmental disabilities
- Experience advocating for empowerment and self-esteem (preferred)
- Familiarity with developmental disabilities (highly valued)
- CPR/First Aid and Article 9 training (strong plus, but training classes are provided)
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance and Introduction to Developmental Disabilities certificate (or willingness to obtain)
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
