• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' needs and circumstances to inform individualized treatment plans.
• Engage clients in evidence-based therapeutic practices, utilizing different modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing.
• Regularly lead therapy and counseling sessions, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore their thoughts and feelings.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to support clients in setting and achieving their mental health goals, ensuring an integrated approach to treatment.
• Assist families in understanding mental health issues and equip them with tools for long-lasting growth and recovery, fostering stronger family dynamics.
• Maintain thorough and accurate clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations, facilitating continuity of care and communication among team members.
• Monitor clients' progress and revise treatment plans as necessary to adapt to their evolving needs and goals.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker at Help Esteem Mental Health Clinic, you will primarily work with clients struggling with substance use disorders, mental health challenges, and related co-occurring issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds and face various life challenges, requiring tailored therapeutic strategies that resonate with their situations. Your expertise will be vital in helping these individuals navigate their recovery journeys.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work or a closely related field.
• An active LCSW license in the state of California.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience, particularly in a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting.
• Proficiency in using electronic health records (EHR) for documenting client interactions and treatment plans.
• Strong competence with Microsoft Office software for documentation and communication purposes.

• Experience in a detox setting or working with individuals in recovery from substance abuse.
• Familiarity with family systems theory and experiential therapeutic techniques for enhanced client engagement.
• Solid understanding of community resources available for mental health support and client referrals.

The role offers a competitive annual salary ranging from $110,000 to $130,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
