We're building a collaborative network of Breed-Specific Experts who are passionate about sharing that knowledge and helping educate pet owners through proactive, breed-specific education.

Whether your expertise is with a toy breed, sporting breed, working breed, herding breed, terrier, hound, guardian breed, or companion breed, we'd love to hear your story.

Requirements
As a Barkera Breed-Specific Expert, you'll help preserve and share the knowledge that makes each breed unique.

Depending on your interests and availability, you may choose to:

  • Review breed-specific educational content.
  • Contribute to Breed-Specific Owner Guides.
  • Share historical and breed preservation knowledge.
  • Help educate owners on breed temperament, structure, purpose, and development.
  • Participate in interviews, podcasts, webinars, or educational videos.
  • Mentor new owners through educational initiatives.
  • Collaborate with veterinarians, trainers, nutritionists, groomers, behaviorists, researchers, and fellow breed experts.
  • Assist with educational events and community discussions.
  • Help ensure educational resources accurately represent each breed's history, function, and intended characteristics.
There is no expectation that every expert participates in every project. We value meaningful contributions of all sizes.
