Job description

Seasonal, through December
30-40 hours per week (full time) or 20-25 hours per week (part time)
Love to bake-or want to learn? Our Farm Kitchen is looking for dependable people to join our seasonal baking crew. Full and part-time positions are available through the end of the season.
You'll help prepare fresh breads, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods using high-quality organic ingredients in a collaborative kitchen. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and eager to learn, we'll provide the training you need-no professional baking experience required.
The position is for 5 days per week. Weekend shifts are available for those who are interested or available to work them.
Responsibilities
  • Measure and prepare ingredients according to recipes, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
  • Assist with mixing ingredients, shaping, and baking a variety of products such as breads, pastries, cookies, and other baked goods.
  • Help maintain inventory of baked goods and ingredients, communicating needs to the Kitchen Manager.
  • Ensure all baked goods meet our quality standards for taste, texture, and presentation.
  • Maintain a clean, organized workspace and follow food safety and sanitation guidelines.
  • Check in daily with the Kitchen Manager to review tasks, schedules, and production goals.
  • Assist with additional baking and kitchen tasks as needed.

Qualifications
  • No professional baking experience? No problem. If you're reliable, detail-oriented, and excited to learn, we'll teach you the rest.
  • Ability to follow recipes precisely and maintain consistency.
  • Able to work efficiently and independently in a fast-paced kitchen.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for the duration of a shift.
  • Willingness to learn, take direction, and communicate effectively.

Compensation
The Baking Crew position is seasonal, through December, with benefits including paid leave, fresh produce, a 20% discount at our farmstand and cafe, access to an employee assistance program, and a 403(b) retirement plan with a 5% employer safe harbor match. Pay range is $15-18/hr, depending on experience. Ability to work the remainder of the season is required.
Application Instructions
If you love baking, enjoy working with high-quality ingredients, and thrive in a collaborative kitchen environment, we'd love to hear from you! Please apply through our online application.
Applications will be reviewed as they are received, and the position will remain posted until filled.
