Overview
This locum opportunity is seeking a Board-Certified Gastroenterologist to provide weekend hospital call coverage due to lack of coverage. The role includes inpatient consults and required GI procedures, supported by on-site lab and imaging services.
Practice Highlights
  • Weekend hospital call only (Saturday & Sunday)
  • Adult patient population
  • Outpatient Gastroenterology & Internal Medicine experience required
  • Lab and X-ray available on-site
  • No trauma designation
  • EMR: Epic
  • Average ~8 procedures per weekend

  • Board Certified in Gastroenterology - REQUIRED
  • Active VA license - REQUIRED
  • ERCP experience - REQUIRED
  • EUS experience - Preferred
  • Flu vaccine - REQUIRED
  • COVID vaccine - Highly Preferred
  • Must be available for listed open dates - REQUIRED
  • Clean malpractice history required for temporary privileges - REQUIRED
