Job description

AtlantiCare is seeking a Board-Certified/Board-Eligible Non-Invasive Cardiologist to join our expanding Heart & Vascular Institute in southeastern New Jersey. This is a hybrid inpatient/outpatient opportunity within a high-volume, high-acuity cardiac program supported by a multidisciplinary cardiovascular team.

Opportunity Highlights

  • Hybrid model: 1 week inpatient / 3 weeks outpatient

  • Call schedule: 1:4 inpatient call + weekend coverage

  • Outpatient practice across 7 regional clinic locations

  • Strong subspecialty support: interventional, EP, heart failure, CT surgery, vascular, and interventional pulmonary

  • High-volume cardiac program with advanced imaging and diagnostics

  • Dedicated inpatient and outpatient APP support

  • AI-assisted documentation and remote reading capabilities

Academic & Growth Environment

  • Active Cardiology Fellowship program

  • Teaching opportunities with Internal Medicine & Family Medicine residents

  • Medical School affiliation in development

Inpatient / Hospital Settings

  • Two hospital campuses with closed ICUs and consult-based cardiology services

  • Busy STEMI and cath lab program (approx. 3,000 cath lab cases annually at main site)

Ideal Candidate

  • MD/DO, BC/BE in Cardiovascular Disease

  • Strong skills in non-invasive imaging (echo, nuclear preferred)

  • NJ licensed or eligible

  • Interest in academic medicine and teaching
