An eSIM job typically involves working with embedded SIM (eSIM) technology, which replaces traditional physical SIM cards in mobile devices. Roles in this field can include software development, network engineering, product management, or technical support related to eSIM activation, provisioning, and security. Professionals in this area collaborate with telecom providers, device manufacturers, and enterprise clients to ensure seamless connectivity and integration of eSIMs in various devices.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in the Esim position, and why are they important?

To thrive as an eSIM Specialist (Embedded SIM Specialist), you need a strong background in telecommunications, SIM technology, and mobile device provisioning, often supported by a degree in IT, telecommunications, or electronics. Familiarity with eSIM management platforms, over-the-air (OTA) provisioning systems, and relevant industry standards such as GSMA specifications is essential. Attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and effective communication are key soft skills for diagnosing issues and working with cross-functional teams. These skills are crucial for ensuring seamless device connectivity and supporting scalable digital solutions in a rapidly evolving tech landscape.

What are the typical daily responsibilities of an eSIM Specialist?

As an eSIM Specialist, your daily responsibilities usually include configuring and activating eSIM profiles, troubleshooting provisioning issues, and ensuring secure deployment across compatible devices. You may work closely with mobile network operators, device manufacturers, and IT support teams to coordinate seamless network connectivity for end users. Monitoring system performance, updating firmware, and maintaining compliance with industry standards are also part of the role. These activities help ensure reliable service and a positive user experience for customers relying on eSIM-enabled devices.

Job description

Sales Director

As a Sales Director, you'll take charge of regional growth with full P&L ownership and be solely accountable for driving revenue and hitting ambitious growth targets across the US region. You'll lead the full sales cycle - from strategy to execution - building high-impact partnerships and expanding Tunz's commercial footprint. We're looking for a driven, hungry, and entrepreneurial professional who thrives in fast-moving environments, loves the challenge of building from the ground up, and knows how to turn bold targets into real results.

This role requires a strategic, sales-driven operator who thrives on building new business, navigating complex partner environments, and leveraging strong industry networks to accelerate growth.

Why Tunz?

Tunz, part of DT One, is redefining the way businesses deliver mobile connectivity. Our B2B eSIM and digital connectivity platform empowers partners - from super apps and digital wallets to travel tech and telecom innovators - to offer seamless, app-driven mobile data solutions in over 150 countries.

We help our partners drive growth and engagement through embedded connectivity, enabling users to stay connected anywhere, without contracts or physical SIMs. Our kickback rewards, peer-to-peer data marketplace, and reseller solutions create new revenue streams and customer touchpoints that keep partners ahead in a competitive digital landscape.

Join us in shaping the future of global mobile connectivity - helping businesses unlock instant, borderless data access for their customers, anytime, anywhere.

What you'll do

  • Develop and execute a regional go-to-market and sales strategy to grow Tunz and DT One's client base across app-driven, fintech, and digital wallet sectors.
  • Build and manage senior-level relationships, including C-Suite stakeholders, across leading app ecosystems, super apps, fintechs, and digital platforms.
  • Drive commercial adoption of Tunz's eSIM platform, kickback rewards, and data marketplace through compelling business propositions.
  • Identify, pitch and close new revenue opportunities across both direct partnerships and indirect channels (resellers, affiliates, API partners).
  • Leverage personal network and market research to expand Tunz's reach across the US
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with the team to support seamless partner onboarding and delivery.
  • Represent Tunz at key industry events, forums, and C-level engagements.
  • Monitor market trends and competitive activity to inform sales strategy.
  • Track sales performance, pipeline health, and forecast accuracy through CRM and regular reporting.
  • Drive cross-selling opportunities between Tunz and DT One business units.

What we're looking for

  • 10+ years' experience in business development or sales, ideally within mobile tech, app-based businesses, fintech, or martech ecosystems.
  • Proven success selling and launching B2B digital solutions or partnerships in fast-paced, app-led environments.
  • Self-driven, target-oriented, and entrepreneurial mindset - someone who thrives on ownership, pursues opportunities proactively, and delivers results with urgency and focus.
  • Strong network across super apps, digital wallets, and mobile ecosystem partners, with experience managing affiliate, reseller, or API-based channels.
  • Solid understanding of app growth and analytics platforms (e.g. AppsFlyer, Adjust, Branch) and their commercial models.
  • Familiarity with eSIM, mobile data, global roaming, and digital distribution ecosystems is a plus.
  • Experienced in leading enterprise partnerships and closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals.
  • Strategic and analytical mindset with a bias for execution, adaptability, and creativity.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
  • Fluency in English; additional regional languages are a plus.
  • Willingness to travel up to 40-50%.
