Job description

Required Education
• Minimum Degree: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (required)
• Acceptable Alternatives:
o Associate’s degree + 6+ years of relevant experience
o Master’s degree (recent graduates accepted)
• Experience Level: 2-4 years of professional experience (internships count toward this)
• Not Accepted: PhD (considered overqualified)
Required Skills
• Writing, implementing, or using REST APIs
• Proficiency with Microsoft DevOps (creating user stories, tracking progress)
• Basic Microsoft Suite skills (especially Excel)
• Knowledge of SQL, VisualBasic, and general computer development software
Technical Skills (Desired)
• Familiarity with the Comprion test system

Apply computer science and mathematical principles to design, develop, test, and evaluate software and systems. This role focuses on operating systems-level software, compilers, and network distribution software for industrial, telecom, and enterprise applications.
Key Responsibilities
• Modify existing databases and database management systems
• Write and code logical and physical database descriptions; specify database identifiers for management systems
• Collaborate within project teams to coordinate database development and define project scope/limitations
• Review project requests to estimate time and cost required for completion
• Create technical requirements and user stories in DevOps
• Coordinate and perform testing of APIs for integration with external vendors and internal teams (for 5G eSIM management)
• Work with DevOps, onboard software, backend systems, and dealer system portal teams
• Schedule and conduct test sessions with multiple external vendors and internal engineers (including teams in India)
• Define ideal processes to leverage new eSIM capabilities and enable new functions for Cat customers
• Track progress in DevOps and participate in status meetings
