The impact you’ll make

As our Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) Global Supply Chain Mamagement (GSCM) Senior Program Manager you will help shape and advance ESG strategy across Lam’s direct supply base. Your work will influence how environmental, social, and governance priorities are integrated into supplier engagement, risk management, sourcing decisions, and supply chain operations. In this role, you will lead cross-functional programs that improve supplier transparency, strengthen responsible sourcing practices, support regulatory and customer requirements, and drive measurable progress against sustainability goals. Your leadership will help build a more resilient, responsible, and future-ready supply chain.


What you’ll do

  • Lead the development and execution of ESG programs and initiatives across Lam’s direct materials supply chain.

  • Partner with GSCM commodity teams, corporate ESG, legal, ethics and compliance, and EHS teams to embed ESG requirements into direct supplier management processes.

  • Drive supplier ESG engagement, including assessments, scorecards, ESG performance reviews, corrective action planning, and continuous improvement initiatives as required.

  • Identify and manage direct supply chain ESG risks related to environmental performance, labor and human rights, ethics, responsible sourcing, and regulatory compliance.

  • Support direct suppliers in improving capabilities related to decarbonization, water use, waste management, worker welfare, governance, and supply chain transparency.

  • Develop and review program metrics, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to measure supplier ESG performance and track progress against business objectives.

  • Partner with corporate functions to ensure ESG regulations, customer expectations, and industry standards impacting semiconductor supply chains are understood and translated into actionable requirements.

  • Provide clear, data-driven updates and recommendations to leadership on ESG related supplier risks, key milestones, and improvement opportunities.

  • Drive process improvement and scalable program governance as due diligence requirements change and our supply chain scales.


Who we’re looking for

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, Environmental Science, Sustainability with 15 years of related exerience, or 12 years and a Masters degree, or Ph.D with 8 years of experience.

  • 8+ years of experience in supply chain, procurement, supplier management, sustainability/ESG, manufacturing operations, or program management.

  • 5+ years of experience leading cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders and measurable business outcomes.

  • Experience working with suppliers and internal business partners to drive performance, compliance, and process improvement.

  • Familiarity with ESG-related topics such as supplier sustainability, human rights due diligence, responsible sourcing, carbon reduction, or supply chain compliance.

  • Familiarization and experience using Microsoft tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.).


Preferred qualifications

  • A strategic and hands-on program leader with experience managing complex, cross-functional initiatives.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain ESG, sustainability, supplier risk, and responsible sourcing practices in a manufacturing or technology environment.

  • Ability to influence internal stakeholders and suppliers across a global, matrixed organization.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and translate insights into action.

  • Excellent communication skills, including experience presenting to senior leaders and engaging with external partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to work through ambiguity, build structure, and drive execution in evolving program areas.

  • Passion for sustainability, operational excellence, and building scalable business processes.

  • Experience in semiconductor, electronics, capital equipment, or other complex global manufacturing environments.

  • Knowledge of ESG frameworks and standards such as RBA, SBTi, GRI, SASB/ISSB, TCFD, or OECD due diligence guidance.

  • Experience with Scope 3 emissions, supply chain decarbonization, conflict minerals/responsible minerals, forced labor compliance, or material traceability.

  • Experience building supplier scorecards, ESG dashboards, governance models, or enterprise reporting processes.

  • PMP or other relevant program management, supply chain, or sustainability certifications.

  • Advanced degree in a relevant field.
