Oneida Engineering Solutions (OES) was awarded the Outstanding Tribally Owned Business of the Year award in 2023. We are an 8(a), minority business enterprise (MBE) that provides engineering, environmental, science, and specialized professional services solutions for customers nationwide. Our primary clients are WisDOT, MnDOT, counties, municipalities, and private developers in Wisconsin.


OES has immediate openings for a Senior Civil Design Engineer - Transportation. This position will be fully remote, near the St Paul Area. In the future, the organization hopes to open an office in the St Paul Area, and the role would transition to a hybrid role with 2 days in the office per week.ย 


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the delivery and budgets for transportation and/or civil infrastructure projects.
  • Assist in the development of proposals and estimates.
  • Provide design expertise and mentoring of other staff members.
  • Oversee and/or lead the development of roadway design and plans for urban and rural highways and interchanges.
  • Oversee and/or lead the preparation of environmental documents, miscellaneous design reports, and final PSE packages.
  • Lead meetings with clients and the general public.
  • Work cooperatively with other engineers and project managers.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university.
  • Experience managing MnDOT projects.
  • Licensed Minnesota PEย 
  • Interest in transportation-related design and construction projects.
  • Experience with Open Roads and Civil3D
