Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Support Eligibility, Recruitment, Selection, Enrollment and Attendance (ERSEA) and record-keeping compliance.
  • Provide case management, parent education and crisis intervention to support self-sufficiency for all Pre-K families.
  • Coordinate parent events related to program goals and governance.
  • Coordinate parent meetings and events.
  • Provide social services, as required by the Federal Performance Standards, to children and families, including those with disabilities.
  • Acts as liaison and support between parents, classroom/school staff, community agencies and other staff.
  • Daily contact with clients (children and families) and program staff to ensure quality program implementation.
  • Oversee all documentation and recordkeeping for compliance, including but not limited to:
  1. ERSEA-recruitment/waitlist, intake, registration, attendance campaign.
  2. Parent Engagement - meetings, events, education, communications.
  3. PROMIS database - initial entry, maintenance, weekly updates (health, nutrition, family service, in kind, attendance)
  4. Child and Family files - ERSEA/Family Services; Health/Nutrition
  5. Monitoring/Record-keeping binders


QUALIFICATIONS:


  • Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, family services, counseling or related field.
  • Two years of related experience in Head Start. Experience in ERSEA preferred.
  • Required to have access to reliable transportation in order to complete activities such as recruitment, intakes, community events, field trips and transition activities.
