Crowe is expanding our Public Sector ERP team and is looking for a Dynamics 365 ERP Technical Consultant/ Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom extensions, solutions, and integrations with external systems as we implement Dynamics 365 ERP for Public Sector clients - including airports, transit agencies, cities, counties, utilities, etc..
In this role, you'll work closely with functional consultants, solution architects, and business stakeholders to translate complex business requirements into clean, scalable technical solutions and high-quality code.
Roles and responsibilities:
  • Develop and test custom software for the Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations ERP solution, and integrations to other systems, using relevant technologies:
    • X++
    • C# / object-oriented programming
    • AI-Assisted Coding (Codex, Claude Code, etc.)
    • Power Platform / Dataverse
    • Power BI
    • SQL
    • Azure DevOps
    • Git
  • Debug and troubleshoot technical issues
  • Incorporate AI into your daily work
  • Prepare technical documentation
  • Participate in code reviews and follow development standards and best practices
  • Collaborate with functional consultants to ensure alignment with business requirements
  • Support client testing and deployment preparation

Basic qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycles
  • Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve technical code errors, data issues, or performance issues
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines
  • Detail-oriented with solid critical thinking, problem solving, and communication skills
  • Demonstrates curiosity and persistence in solving problems independently.
  • Exercises sound judgment in seeking assistance when needed.

At Crowe, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $64,100.00 - $122,700.00 per year.
