They are seeking a hands-on ERP Implementation & Operation Specialist to help select, implement, and support a manufacturing management system that fits their custom manufacturing operation and works effectively with the existing QuickBooks environment.

This role will help evaluate potential systems, coordinate testing and implementation, and ensure the selected system supports inventory, purchasing, production tracking, and job management. Highlighted Duties:
  • Research and evaluate MRP/ERP systems for a small, custom manufacturing operation.

  • Help organize and maintain inventory, BOM, purchasing, and production data.
  • Support purchasing, material planning, inventory tracking, and job-specific material requirements.
  • Help ensure effective integration between the manufacturing system and QuickBooks.
  • Configure and maintain the system and assist with troubleshooting and process improvements.
  • Train employees and develop practical procedures for consistent system use.
  • Work closely with engineering, purchasing, production, accounting, and management to ensure the system supports business needs.

  • Experience with ERP/MRP or other business management software.
  • Strong computer and Excel skills, with the ability to work with and organize operational data.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn new software, understand business processes, and work independently.
  • Experience with manufacturing systems implementation, BOMs, inventory, purchasing, or production planning is a plus.
  • Experience with custom, ETO/MTO manufacturing or QuickBooks integration is helpful but not required.
  • Experience training employees or improving business processes is a plus.
