Project Leader - ERP Development

Location: Milwaukee, WI

Position Summary

The Project Leader - ERP Development is responsible for planning, coordinating, and managing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) initiatives, including system development, implementation, upgrades, enhancements, integrations, and production support activities. This role serves as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, ERP technical teams, vendors, and leadership to ensure successful delivery of ERP solutions that align with organizational objectives.

Responsibilities
  • Lead ERP development, implementation, upgrade, and enhancement projects throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Collaborate with business units to gather, analyze, and validate ERP functional and technical requirements.
  • Develop project plans, schedules, resource allocations, budgets, and implementation strategies.
  • Coordinate ERP Financial and/or HRMS module development and support activities.
  • Manage ERP testing efforts, including test planning, execution, defect tracking, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
  • Ensure compliance with organizational standards, security requirements, and ERP best practices.
  • Monitor project milestones, risks, issues, and deliverables to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Facilitate communication among technical teams, end users, vendors, and executive stakeholders.
  • Oversee ERP system documentation, technical specifications, operational procedures, and training materials.
  • Support production deployments and post-implementation stabilization activities.
