About the Role
MSE is seeking an Erema Operator to join our Production team. This role has two main parts: operating our Erema 756T pelletizing plant, and organizing and baling scrap generated across the shift. You'll work closely with production lines to collect and manage scrap from both production runs and customer returns, and coordinate handoffs with the incoming and outgoing shift Erema Operators.
Schedule
โ€ข 4-crew rotating shift schedule
โ€ข 12-hour shifts: 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m.-8:00 a.m.
โ€ข Rotates from days to nights (and vice versa) every 28 days
โ€ข Seven-day work cycle with alternating 36-hour and 48-hour weeks
โ€ข Some overtime required
What You'll Do
โ€ข Read and understand production orders, and learn MSE's raw material and scrap codes
โ€ข Understand processing conditions for different resin formulations and operate the Erema 756T efficiently
โ€ข Weigh materials and calculate net weights by subtracting tare weights of pallets and boxes
โ€ข Determine which scrap should be baled and which should be re-pelletized
โ€ข Change blades on the pelletizer head and cutting chamber as needed
โ€ข Keep the work area clean and organized, and assist with production floor cleanup when time permits
โ€ข Coordinate scrap collection and handoffs with incoming and outgoing shift Erema Operators
What You'll Need
โ€ข High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalence Certificate
โ€ข Comfortable with basic math (addition, subtraction, simple division)
โ€ข Willingness to learn MSE's ERP system and safely operate a forklift
โ€ข Ability to recognize good versus bad pellets and read/operate equipment controls
โ€ข Ability to handle rolls and boxes, and lift up to 80 lbs.
โ€ข Comfortable standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead throughout the shift
โ€ข Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
