Job description

Description:

The Erema/Reclaim Machine Operator position is responsible for full operation of the Erema recycle machine to reclaim and reuse scrap material from the production floor.


Pay: $19 + $2 night shift differential

Schedule: 7:45pm-8am, 2/2/3 schedule

Requirements:
  • High school diploma or GED equivalency
  • 1 year of machine operator, warehouse, or other manufacturing experience.
  • Troubleshooting skills and good mechanical abilities.
  • Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office.
  • Experience with databases and tracking software.


Key Responsibilities (What/How):

As in operations, the Erema operator is responsible of:

  • Set Up Erema to process standards and centerlines.
  • Perform Erema set up, start up, and shut down.
  • Manage operation of the Erema manufacturing equipment.
  • Ensure the side feed is always fully stocked and tied in.
  • Manage the flow of material into and out of the Erema area.
  • Accurately and fully complete all production reports.
  • Track all production and enter database.
  • Ensure product is properly labeled.
  • Ensure quality standards are met.
  • Communicate problems and issues to appropriate resources in a timely manner.
  • Assist in down day activities per team leader instructions.
  • Ensure finished pellets meet specifications defined in Operations Documents.
  • Operate equipment within the specified limits of the appropriate Standard Operating Conditions.
  • Assist other team members and in other production areas needed.
  • All other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly lift up to 25 lbs, occasionally up to 50 lbs
  • Stand and walk for extended periods
  • Work in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
  • Work around varying temperatures
  • Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, and peripheral vision as well as depth perception and ability to adjust focus
