Job description

About the Role

MSE is seeking an Erema Operator to join our Production team. This role has two main parts: operating our Erema 756T pelletizing plant, and organizing and baling scrap generated across the shift. You'll work closely with production lines to collect and manage scrap from both production runs and customer returns, and coordinate handoffs with the incoming and outgoing shift Erema Operators.

Schedule

4-crew rotating shift schedule

12-hour shifts: 8:00 a.m.-8:00 p.m. or 8:00 p.m.-8:00 a.m.

Rotates from days to nights (and vice versa) every 28 days

Seven-day work cycle with alternating 36-hour and 48-hour weeks

Some overtime required

What You'll Do

Read and understand production orders, and learn MSE's raw material and scrap codes

Understand processing conditions for different resin formulations and operate the Erema 756T efficiently

Weigh materials and calculate net weights by subtracting tare weights of pallets and boxes

Determine which scrap should be baled and which should be re-pelletized

Change blades on the pelletizer head and cutting chamber as needed

Keep the work area clean and organized, and assist with production floor cleanup when time permits

Coordinate scrap collection and handoffs with incoming and outgoing shift Erema Operators

What You'll Need

High School Diploma, GED, or High School Equivalence Certificate

Comfortable with basic math (addition, subtraction, simple division)

Willingness to learn MSE's ERP system and safely operate a forklift

Ability to recognize good versus bad pellets and read/operate equipment controls

Ability to handle rolls and boxes, and lift up to 80 lbs.

Comfortable standing, kneeling, bending, and reaching overhead throughout the shift

Strong attention to detail and safety awareness

Why MSE

Values-driven culture: everything we do is grounded in STACS - Servant Leadership, Trust, Accountability, Collaboration, and Stewardship - which shape how our teams work together and treat one another every day

Room to grow: build specialized skills operating reprocessing equipment and gain hands-on knowledge of resin formulations

Meaningful work: the scrap you reclaim and re-pelletize helps us reduce waste and get more value out of every order

Stability and investment: we're a growing manufacturer that invests in our people, our equipment, and our processes for the long term
