Emergency Room Registered Nurse (ER RN) Travel Assignment – Mansfield, Ohio

Join a fast-paced emergency department as a Travel Emergency Room Registered Nurse in Mansfield, Ohio. This ER RN opportunity offers the chance to provide high-acuity nursing care alongside a collaborative care team in a busy trauma-capable hospital serving pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics.

Job Requirements
  • Current Registered Nurse license in any active state; compact license accepted
  • Minimum of 2 years of emergency nursing experience preferred
  • BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
  • TNCC certification preferred
  • EPIC charting experience required
  • Trauma Level II experience preferred
  • Ability to manage a patient ratio of 4-5 in a fast-paced ED environment
  • Strong clinical confidence with emergency, trauma, and critical care nursing skills
Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality nursing care to emergency department patients across all age groups
  • Triage, assess, and prioritize patients based on acuity and presenting condition
  • Support treatment of a wide range of emergency diagnoses, including chest pain, stroke, sepsis, trauma, respiratory distress, and abdominal pain
  • Perform and monitor procedures such as IV starts, blood product administration, central line care, and procedural sedation support
  • Manage dysrhythmias, arterial line monitoring, and ventilated patients as needed
  • Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary teams to ensure safe, efficient patient care
  • Float as needed within the emergency care setting and maintain flexibility in a busy clinical environment
