PROGRAM SUPPORT INTERN, KENWOOD ACADEMY

Chicago Public Schools (CPS) is one of the largest school districts in the United States, serving over 330,000

Job Summary:
The Program Support Intern will offer their time to their school community, which will help build relationships,
communication skills all while discovering new talents. The Program Support Intern will assist in the school
main office, technology department, athletics and school store. This position will report to the School
Operations Manager.
This student employee position will be compensated for time worked on an hourly basis. The work schedule for
this role will consist of an estimated 16 hours per week - 4 hrs/day after school hours for 4 days per week - for
an anticipated period of 12 months beginning 7/1/25 and ending 6/30/26.

The Program Support Intern will complete duties such as the following:
Office Help Assistance
Tech Support
School Store Clerk

In order to qualify for this student worker position, candidates must be actively enrolled as a CPS
student attending their sophomore, junior, or senior in high school during the 2025-2026 school year,
and must be participating in the Technology and Business Department. A valid work permit will be
required for students under the age of 16.
