Job description

Construction Rental Contract Specialist

Responsibilities will include setting up construction rental contracts, organizing machine transportation, invoicing, commissions and closing contracts in a timely manner.

Basic Duties
  • This specialist will work directly with sales representatives to fulfill customer's rental needs
  • Respond to team member calls/emails/texts in a timely basis with a sense of urgency
  • Coordinate with shop staff regarding repair status and availability of equipment
  • Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant work experience is preferred
  • Previous background in Construction or Agriculture equipment market preferred
  • Good organization skills with excellent communication abilities (verbally & written) are required
  • Ability to manage a constantly changing workload
  • Must be able to plan well to meet challenging customer deadlines
  • The position calls for extreme flexibility to task as the rental business from day to day can be very fluid and fast pace
  • Strong communication skills, with internal teams and customers
  • Proven leadership and strong customer service skills
  • Must be proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and Outlook
  • Some local travel will be required
  • High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record. This includes no more than 2 minor violations within the past 3 years and no major violations within the past 5 years (Motor Vehicle Report will be performed on final candidate).
Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

This position will primarily work in an office environment. May sit at a desk for a period of time to answer phone calls or use a keyboard to complete documents and communicate through email. Must be able to walk, bend, lift up to 20 lbs. and wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields) when needed. The physical demands described above are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
