Job description

The Operations Manager is responsible for managing daily field execution within an assigned portfolio of routes, crews, and supervisors ensuring that all maintenance and snow-related duties are carried out effectively. This role ensures that all work is completed safely, efficiently, and according to scope, while meeting labor and production targets. The Operations Manager acts as the direct link between planning and execution, using Aspire to manage performance, adjust schedules, and drive field results. During snow events, this role is responsible for executing assigned routes and directing crews in real time.
Requirements
  • Track labor hours, job costing, and productivity in Aspire
  • Conducts regular site visits to verify quality and adherence to scope
  • Manages daily execution of maintenance and snow work within assigned routes and crews
  • Directly supervises Field Supervisors and ensures crew accountability
  • Executes schedules and routing plans to achieve efficiency and production goals
  • Identifies inefficiencies and adjusts field operations to improve performance
  • Ensures proper use and care of equipment across crews
  • Communicates daily with the Operations Assistants on scheduling and ticket updates
  • Resolves field issues including staffing, equipment, and service challenges
  • Executes assigned responsibilities during snow events including route management and crew direction
