Electrophysiologist – St. George, UT

When you join us, you’ll become a part of a nationally recognized health system dedicated to our mission of “helping people live the healthiest lives possible.”

About this role:

The St. George Heart Rhythm team is comprised of 4 EP Cardiologists and 7 APPs. As an Electrophysiologist, you will be part of a collaborative, multidisciplinary heart and vascular team dedicated to provide top-notch care and patient experience. Here are some highlights you can expect.

  • You would work at our St. George clinic and hospital with occasional shifts at our outreach clinics in Cedar City and Mesquite
  • Your schedule would consist of about 50/50 clinic vs lab time
  • Call is 4 days in a row and rotates among the EPs making it 1:5 with the hiring of this position
  • There are currently 2 EP labs with renovations working on a 3rd to be shared with CATH
  • This is a new position due to growth

What you’ll bring:

  • MD or DO from an accredited program
  • Unrestricted UT medical license, or able to obtain
  • Board Eligible or Certified in Electrophysiology
  • BLS and ACLS certification, and DEA
  • Will consider new Fellows
  • Lead extractions are a plus
