Job description

Overview:
We are currently seeking a Logistics Pricing Analyst for a full-time direct hire position with our client in Itasca, IL. 3+ years of experience in logistics pricing with analytical and technical skills with tools like Microsoft Excel, SQL, or Python.


This person will play a critical role in driving cost optimization, strategic pricing, and operational efficiency across the client's international logistics network. The Analyst is instrumental in supporting the development of pricing strategies, guiding data-driven decision-making, supporting revenue growth initiatives, and vendor negotiations. Analysts must develop a strong understanding of their logistics operations in order to provide accurate, competitive pricing and analysis to the Sales team. The role will collaborate closely with cross-functional departments, including Sales, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, Export, and Billing, to align pricing models with business goals, ensure customer satisfaction, and strengthen competitive positioning in the marketplace.

Key Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the Design and implementation of pricing strategies and cost analyses that support profitability and long-term growth.
  • Oversee preparation of complex pricing proposals for domestic and international mail, publications, and parcel services.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment of pricing initiatives with operational capabilities and client expectations.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive pricing models and report dashboards using advanced business analytic tools.
  • Manage and maintain proprietary pricing, costing, and routing databases and tools
  • Support negotiations with vendors to ensure ePost Global has the most competitive rates in the market.
  • Resolve billing discrepancies and client pricing issues through collaboration with A/P, Billing, and Customer Service teams.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives, automate workflows, and establish best practices for scalable pricing operations.
  • Perform other related duties and strategic assignments as directed by senior management.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Logistics, or related field preferred; Associate degree and equivalent experience will be considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in commercial/pricing/analyst roles within logistics.
  • Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills with the ability to interpret data and forecast impact.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with data visualization, SQL, Python.
  • Experience with SalesForce is a plus.
  • Effective communicator with the ability to present complex pricing concepts to internal stakeholders and customers.
  • Highly organized with the flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced and evolving environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus.
