Job Description

Analyze, design, develop, maintain and improve business processes and corresponding software applications to allow Wells’ Enterprises to function according to user needs for the assigned area. As an advanced level contributor, this is accomplished according to the priorities and direction established by management. This person will also provide guidance and mentor others in the technical aspects of the Wells Application technology.

Responsibilities
  • Exhibit advanced technical skills/abilities required for developing, implementing and maintaining business software applications within specified time frames, using the tools required for the position.
  • Utilize independent judgment to efficiently create technical solutions by applying skills and knowledge as well as interpreting business requirements and strategy. Provide on‑going information, support, mentoring and training as needed for internal customers, team members and IT.
  • Lead and/or contribute to end‑to‑end project delivery, including requirements, design, development, testing, deployment and ongoing support.
  • Test/debug application systems of significant complexity to ensure accuracy, standards compliance, meet requirements, and have acceptable response times while adhering to time constraints and project deadlines.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve application, system, and integration issues in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
  • Document application systems and procedures according to organizational needs. This includes test scripts, LDRP, maintenance, process, training, customer, etc., ensuring compliance with department standards and proper handoff to testing team.
  • Technically lead efforts involving moderate to complex level projects, often giving direction to other team members, and at times internal customers. Work with outside technology vendors as required. Prioritize in accordance with guidance provided and organizational needs, meeting specified timeline/s.
  • Demonstrate a strong willingness to learn new technologies and concepts, with a consistent track record of self‑development and growth.
Qualifications

In addition to the responsibilities listed above, other duties may be assigned by your supervisor, as dictated by business necessity.

  • Bachelor’s degree in an IT related discipline or related experience.
  • 5–7 years of experience within a programming/development environment (level may vary based on candidate experience).
  • Primary Technical Skills & Knowledge: Strong experience with Oracle EPM Cloud; strong SQL and Oracle PL/SQL development skills; proven end‑to‑end project experience; strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills; ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced, multi‑tasking environment.
  • Additional Desired Skills & Knowledge: Oracle Developer, Java, Groovy scripting; Systemintegration experience using APIs, HTML, XML, Oracle E-Business Suite, MS Office Suite including MS Visio, Unix, Linux, Windows, MS SQL Server.
  • Skills - Proactive problem‑solving, multi‑tasking and organizational skills. Attention to detail with systematic and thorough documentation skills. Strong communication and project management skills.
  • Abilities - Ability to work independently and collaboratively to analyze complex assignments, define and create solutions. Technical, plus the ability to grasp abstract concepts.

The base pay range for this position is $104,000 to $146,000 annually. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and other job‑related factors permitted by law. This pay range represents the anticipated salary for this position at this time.
