We are looking for a dynamic insurance professional with an entrepreneurial mindset, strong sales and service skills, and the ability to quickly learn new systems and concepts. The ideal candidate is adaptable, organized, highly responsive, and committed to delivering exceptional client service while managing multiple priorities.

This position offers a combination of hourly compensation plus new and renewal commissions, creating excellent income potential based on performance, sales ability, work ethic, and insurance knowledge.


Position Responsibilities
  • Marketing, prospecting, qualifying, and placing Commercial Lines coverage for new business prospects
  • Compiling proposals, applications, and rating information
  • Selling and placing commercial insurance accounts
  • Developing and maintaining a strong pipeline of new business opportunities
  • Cross-selling existing accounts
  • Conducting renewal and claims reviews
  • Responding to incoming sales calls and internet leads
  • Providing day-to-day servicing of assigned accounts
  • Maintaining strong relationships with clients, carrier partners, and company personnel
  • Delivering prompt, accurate, and professional customer service

Minimum Qualifications
  • Active California Fire & Casualty Broker-Agent License
  • Commercial insurance experience preferred
  • Familiarity with AMS360, Acord forms, and carrier rating systems
  • Knowledge of Commercial Lines products including:
  • General Liability
  • Workers Compensation
  • Commercial Auto
  • Property
  • EPLI
  • Cyber Liability
  • and related coverages
  • Strong proficiency with computers, internet usage, and paperless office environments
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines
  • Continuing education and industry coursework encouraged (CPCU, ARM, IIA, etc.)
  • College education preferred
  • Bilingual skills are a plus
