Job description

Zemer Odessa LLC is seeking a full-time Epiroc Drill Operator to support safe, efficient drilling operations at our onsite location in Odessa, TX.

Position Summary

The Epiroc Drill Operator is responsible for setting up, operating, and monitoring drilling equipment to produce quality results while maintaining strict safety standards. You will work closely with a team to ensure operations run smoothly, issues are addressed quickly, and equipment is properly maintained.

This role requires hands-on mechanical awareness, a strong commitment to following procedures, and the ability to perform tasks in an onsite industrial environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate Epiroc drilling equipment according to established procedures and job requirements.

  • Prepare equipment for operation, including inspection, setup, and verification of readiness prior to drilling.

  • Monitor drilling performance and make operational adjustments to support efficient progress and consistent outcomes.

  • Maintain accurate records related to daily activities, operational parameters, and basic equipment checks.

  • Perform routine maintenance support and troubleshoot operational issues in coordination with site leadership and maintenance personnel.

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience operating drilling equipment or performing hands-on operational work in an industrial environment.

  • Ability to follow safety policies, operational procedures, and work instructions consistently.
