Epicor Project Manager


About the Role

We're seeking an experienced Epicor Project Manager to lead an ERP implementation/upgrade/split initiative on a contract basis. This role will oversee project planning, stakeholder coordination, and delivery timelines to ensure a successful Epicor deployment.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage end-to-end Epicor ERP implementation, upgrade, or optimization projects
  • Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and budgets
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams (finance, operations, engineering, production, IT)
  • Serve as primary liaison between business stakeholders and technical/consulting teams
  • Identify risks, manage scope changes, and resolve project roadblocks
  • Facilitate status meetings, steering committee updates, and go-live readiness reviews
  • Ensure Epicor configuration supports manufacturing workflows (BOMs, routing, work centers, inventory/parts management)
  • Ensure adherence to project governance and change management best practices


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience managing Epicor ERP projects (Kinetic/Epicor 10 or later preferred)
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing or distribution business processes
  • PMP certification or equivalent project management experience preferred
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience with full project lifecycle: discovery, configuration, testing, training, go-live, support
  • Ability to work independently in a consulting capacity


Nice to Have:

  • Prior experience with Epicor implementation partners or VARs
  • Familiarity with data migration and integration projects
  • Background in manufacturing and distribution is a plus
