Job description

Aya Locums is seeking a skilled Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) to provide locum services in Minneapolis, MN. This is an excellent opportunity for a CRNA looking for flexible scheduling and a rewarding work environment. Coverage is needed full-time, preferred minimum of two weeks per month (36 hours per week) and ongoing for 13 weeks (flexible).

Job Details:

  • Case Types: Specialized care procedures, general anesthesia for a patient population of 12+. CRNAs do not perform any blocks, a-lines, epidurals, or spinals.

  • Setting: Acute Care Hospital (Tertiary facility)

  • Schedule: Day, Swing, and Night shifts available. Shifts are 8, 10, 12, and 16 hours long, with examples like 6:30-3pm, 6:30-5pm, 6:30-7pm, 6:30-8pm. Includes 8hr Weeknight Call and optional 12hr Beeper Call on some Saturdays.

  • Support: Supervised model (Care Team Model 4:1). Support staff includes a 24hr Anesthesia Aid Dept.

  • EMR System: Epic

Requirements:

  • Active CRNA Certification (NBCRNA Required)

  • State License in Minnesota (or willingness to obtain)

  • BLS/ACLS Required

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year required. Must permanent residence is located outside a 50-mile radius of the greater Minneapolis/St. Paul metro area. 

  • Charting Experience: Epic Required
