Registered Nurse Requirements
  • Active Registered Nurse (RN) license with compact licensure in hand at submission
  • At least 1 year of recent ICU, MICU, or critical care nursing experience required
  • Experience caring for patients with a 2-3 nurse-to-patient ratio preferred
  • Current ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications
  • Prior travel nursing experience required
  • Strong EPIC charting experience required
  • Ability to work weekends, float as needed, and adapt in a high-acuity adult ICU environment
  • Comfort supporting adult and geriatric patients with complex, evolving conditions
Responsibilities
  • Deliver skilled, compassionate critical care nursing to medically fragile patients in a busy MICU
  • Monitor and manage patients with respiratory failure, shock states, multisystem organ failure, and acute neurologic or metabolic conditions
  • Perform and assist with advanced ICU procedures such as central line care, arterial line management, chest tube support, and ventilator care
  • Titrate cardiac drips and vasoactive medications, manage continuous sedation, and support hypothermia protocols
  • Recognize changes in patient condition quickly and respond appropriately in a high-acuity setting
  • Collaborate with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and other interdisciplinary healthcare professionals
  • Support safe, efficient care delivery during codes, rapid sequence intubations, and other emergent events
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold unit standards while delivering excellent bedside care
