Weekly Pre-Tax Pay: Up to $2,038.61 / week
Position Overview
NuWest Travel Nursing is seeking an experienced Psychiatric Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Seattle, WA. This opportunity is located at an inpatient behavioral health facility providing care to adult patients (ages 18+).
Key Responsibilities & Highlights
  • Provide direct care to adult behavioral health patients across a 70-bed facility.
  • Perform behavioral evaluations and manage patient care within an inpatient/involuntary treatment setting.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and transfer patients requiring medical evaluation to affiliated medical hospitals as needed.
  • Assume charge nurse duties when required.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of recent experience in a similar inpatient or involuntary psychiatric treatment facility.
  • Licensure: Active Registered Nurse (RN) license for Washington State.
  • Certifications Required:
    • Basic Life Support (BLS)
    • Crisis De-escalation Certificate (CPI or MOAB)
  • Systems & Unit Info:
    • EMR: EPIC
    • Floating requirement: 2nd and 3rd Floor units
  • First-time travel nurses considered!
