  • Experience with BiPAP, chest tubes, PICC lines, and drawing labs
  • Comfortable working without a vascular access team and initiating appropriate consults independently
  • Ability to respond to codes and support open-heart day 2 or day 3 patients with pacer wires
  • Previous experience floating across inpatient units and ED preferred
  • Nicotine-free facility compliance required
Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe, compassionate care to progressive care patients with varied acuity levels
  • Monitor patients closely and respond promptly to changes in condition
  • Manage complex respiratory and cardiovascular support needs within PCU nursing standards
  • Perform bedside nursing tasks such as lab draws, line care, and support with procedures
