Registered Nurse (RN) - Cath Lab

Location: Apple Valley, California
Schedule: Day Shift - 4x10-Hour Shifts
Shift Hours: 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks

Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cath Lab Registered Nurse (RN) for a travel assignment in Apple Valley, California. This opportunity is ideal for a skilled Cath Lab RN with strong procedural experience and the ability to work in a fast-paced acute care environment.

The ideal candidate will have recent Cath Lab experience, strong cardiac procedural knowledge, and the ability to independently circulate procedures and support interventional cardiac care teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care in a high-acuity Cardiac Cath Lab setting
  • Circulate and assist during diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures
  • Monitor patients before, during, and after procedures
  • Support physicians during right and left heart catheterizations
  • Assist with cardiac stent placement procedures
  • Maintain accurate patient documentation using Epic EMR
  • Respond effectively during emergency cardiac situations
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours procedures
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary cardiac care teams
Requirements
  • Active RN License required
  • Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
  • Minimum 1 year of Cath Lab experience required (Hard Stop)
  • Previous travel experience required
  • ACLS Certification required
  • BLS Certification required
  • Strong experience with:
    • Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab procedures
    • Cardiac stent placement
    • Circulating procedures
    • Right and left heart catheterizations
